Built in Canada by LeisureCraft. A rugged firebox in 3/16″ steel that takes 16″ logs and holds 200 lb of stone — the mass is what turns a wood fire into steady, even heat rather than a sharp burst that fades.
The 4½″ chimney outlet sits on top of the unit, so you can vent straight up or, with an elbow, out through the back or a side wall depending on how the cabin sits.

The 44″ front clearance is the one that shapes a room — it is the standing space the firebox door needs, and it has to come out of the cabin's floor plan before benches.
A chimney kit is required and sold separately. Wood-burning appliances carry clearance, flue and local ordinance requirements — verify with your local fire marshal before ordering. Installation by a qualified installer is required.
