Made to order. This LeisureCraft Canadian Timber unit is built to order. Production lead time before shipment varies by model and season and is confirmed at the time of your order; the transit estimate applies after your unit ships. Your concierge will confirm the current ship date before your order is accepted.

The entry point to the Canadian Timber barrel line, and the one that fits a normal garden. Seven feet across, six and a half feet deep, seating four — a barrel is the oldest efficient shape in sauna building because the curve puts the heat where people sit instead of stacking it in the corners of a box.

Canadian Timber Construction

  • Eastern White Cedar — naturally rot-resistant, dimensionally stable, and low-conductivity so benches stay comfortable at temperature.
  • Ball-and-socket stave profile — the staves tighten as the cedar takes on moisture.
  • Bronze tempered glazing — 5 mm single pane on both the door and window.
  • Wood or electric — configured for both, including a chimney routed out the side, back or top.
  • Kit assembly — ships flat and is built on site.

Delivery & Assembly

The Harmony ships flat as a kit and is assembled on site. The crate measures 84″ × 45″ × 34″, so the constraint on your delivery path is 34 inches — not the 86-inch finished barrel. Assembly follows a documented step-by-step build with pre-drilled holes throughout.

Site Preparation

The base must be level with a slight slope to the back for drainage. Crushed stone, paver blocks, a concrete pad or a wood deck all work. Build the base larger than the barrel footprint so there is somewhere to sit and cool off between rounds.

Heating

With the recommended 7.5 kW electric heater, the Harmony needs a 240V 40A double-pole circuit, hardwired by a licensed electrician. Larger heaters require a larger circuit — confirm the requirement for the heater you select.

Configured with a wood-burning heater, no supply circuit is needed for heat, but a chimney kit is required. Overhead and chimney clearances vary by stove model and depend on how the installation is specified — manufacturer heat shields and an insulated Class A chimney both reduce the distances an unshielded single-wall install would need. LeisureCraft specifies the shielding and chimney kit each heater pairing requires. Wood-burning appliances also carry local ordinance requirements; verify with your fire marshal before ordering.

Living With It

Left unfinished, cedar weathers naturally to a silver-grey under sun and rain. This does not harm the wood or affect performance. Livos Alis exterior oil is available if you would rather hold the original colour, and a shingle or metal roof kit adds a shed layer over the top staves.

Some minor water seepage through the top and sides is normal in an outdoor barrel and comes from the porous cedar and the ball-and-socket stave profile. It evaporates once the heater is running. Sweep the interior regularly and wash benches with warm soapy water a few times a year. Never use ammonia or harsh cleaners — they turn cedar grey.

Warranty

Products designed and manufactured by Dundalk LeisureCraft Inc. carry a five (5) year residential limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use, beginning the date the product is received by the original end-user consumer.

The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, improper installation, insufficient or improper maintenance, natural weather conditions, or failure to follow the manufacturer's installation, usage, or care instructions. Valid claims are fulfilled by replacement parts at no charge; replacement does not extend the original warranty period. The warranty is limited to replacement parts and does not cover service, labor, or installation costs.

All electrical connections must be made by a licensed electrician. Failure to comply voids the warranty.

Heaters carry their own manufacturer warranties. Electric heaters are typically three (3) years excluding elements, rocks and sensors; LeisureCraft TimberGlow wood heaters five (5) years and Narvi wood heaters two (2) years, each excluding glass door, ash grate and rocks; all chimney kits five (5) years.

Warranty claims: LeisureCraft customer support, 888-923-9813 or support@leisurecraft.com.

Heater, chimney kit, roof, floor plate, lighting, stain and accessories are configured separately.
